After-School Care - "The Company"

For: Students enrolled at First Presbyterian Day School

When: Begins the first day of school; open only days that school is in session

Hours: 12:15pm. until 5:30pm. (Note: A $15.00 per quarter hour, or any part thereof, will be charged for students picked up after 5:30 p.m.)

Location: Belhaven Street entrance

Cost: $3.25 per student per hour

Billing: At the end of the month, you will be billed for the time your child spent in The Company. A computerized time clock will be used to keep a record of each child's stay throughout the month. You will be billed only for the time that your child stays in The Company.

Kindergarteners needing after-school care go directly to The company at 12:15pm. Lunch will be served immediately. Your child may bring his lunch, purchase it in the cafeteria, or bring lunch and purchase milk and/or a dessert in the cafeteria. Please help us avoid confusion with charging lunches, milk, etc., by sending the appropriate money for lunch with your child each day. If your child forgets his lunch or lunch money, he may charge lunch and bring the money the next day.

First and Second Graders go directly to The Company (escorted by teachers) when school is dismissed at 2:45 p.m.

Third and Fourth Graders go to a designated "late room" until 3:30 p.m. At that time, the teacher will escort them to The Company

Fifth and Sixth Graders go to a designated "late room" until 4:00 p.m. At that time, the teacher will escort them to The Company.

NOTICE: LATE ROOMS ARE CONSIDERED PART OF THE COMPANY AND ALSO COST $3 PER HOUR.
Children whose parents have not picked them up at 2:45 p.m. or before the teachers have returned from parking lot and street patrol will go to the appropriate late room; parents may pick them up in the designated late rooms. Children are not allowed to wait outside without the presence of a teacher or adult.

There will be "early rooms" at no extra charge for students grade 1 - 6 arriving at school before 8:00 a.m. Students should not arrive at school prior to 7:30 a.m.
