Kathryn Day

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Kathryn graduated from Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  Her husband, David, is originally from Jackson and works at First Presbyterian Church as the Director of Communications. Kathryn taught second grade for two years at St. Paul Presbyterian School followed by three years at FPDS, also in the second grade. She stayed home for a year with their daughter, Hannah, and returned to FPDS in 2009 to teach Bible. “Your child’s heart is the most important thing to us,” she says. “It is our privilege to walk alongside parents as you train your child in the way they should go.”  The Days also have a second daughter, Sarah, who was born in 2014.
