3D PRINTING: 5th - 6th Grade
Six-week program that teaches the design process in TinkerCad, how 3D printers work and printing. More specific information on how 3D printing is used in the workplace is discussed. The students can tap into their skills of creativity, STEM skills and problem-solving. The students will be given a large project to build and each child will have a part to print. Following the print, the students will assemble the larger project.

BRICKS 4 KIDZ: K3 - 2ND GRADE
Bricks 4 Kidz classes provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play… with LEGO® Bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz approach to educational play. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity.
CODING CLUB: 3RD - 5TH GRADE
We live in a digital world in which computers are everywhere and have become an essential part of our everyday lives. Because so many jobs today, and certainly those of the future, require computer skills and basic programming, we would like to offer our students additional access and training to better prepare them for the future. Coding Club uses a variety of robots such as Ozobots, Dash & Dot, Cue, and Coji along with iPads to learn programming. Osmos and Chromebooks are utilized with coding software/programs to teach and practice coding skills.
Coding Club is taught by Carol Brister, our Idea Lab instructor and Innovators STEAM team director.

DRAMA KIDS: K5 - 6TH GRADE
Drama Kids offers unique and fun-filled drama programs to help children and young adults develop confidence, creative thinking, acting abilities, public speaking skills, and leadership & teamwork.
HEROES: Helping Everyone Reach Overall Educational Success
(Formerly Eye Can Do It)
A program designed to help all kids be heroes for others but also for themselves. HEROES who sign up will learn the important virtues of strength, patience, balance, and being kind. Weekly activities will include exercises, crafts, games and handwriting practice, all designed to enhance the coordination needed to perform reading, writing, and general sports play. All kids will love and benefit from being a HERO.

I HEART ART: K3-2ND GRADE
Art is a time for children to express their creative ability. They will be introduced to many fun, new projects and experiment with different medias. Everyone has a creative side ... I hope to bring out the "inner artist" in each child.

INNOVATORS WITH MRS. BRISTER: 2ND - 6TH GRADE
Innovators is a hands-on after-school program for First Pres. students in grades 2nd-6th. In Innovators, our goal is to provide a fun learning experience for program participants with an emphasis on STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) that incorporates the 4 C’s: Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity.

LEGO ROBOTICS: 4th - 6th Grade
8-week program that encourages problem-solving, teamwork, inferencing, STEM and fun! This class teaches students to build, code and work vehicles that follow code commands. Each group is given a task and the vehicle must be able to accomplish the task. The students learn tenacity and coping skills as they problem solve with others.
SCIENCE EXPLORERS: K5
Science Explorers is a hands-on science program designed to captivate the curious nature of young children. Its primary focus is to teach children to explore how the world works through their senses and creativity, thought-provoking experiments, observation, exploration, and profound learning. Students will learn how to ask questions, develop a hypothesis, test their assumptions, draw conclusions, and communicate results in a fun learning environment.

SOCCER SHOTS: K3 - 3RD GRADE
Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized program that offers a high energy, fun and age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. We also work on improving children’s gross motor skills and teaching children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing, and respect. Our goals is to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.

Sound Explorers uses musical play to develop the mind, body, and spirit. Students will learn a variety of concepts and have lots of fun with many hands-on instruments, which they get to keep!

TIGER-ROCK MARTIAL ARTS (TAE KWON DO): K5
The mission of Tiger-Rock is to empower students by enriching their personal, artistic, and professional lives through Tiger-Rock training. While providing students with the various benefits resulting from highly functional training, Tiger-Rock believes the highest purpose of our programs is to prepare students for the responsibilities of citizenship. In TOTs - teams of tomorrow - teaches fundamental and creative basketball. TOTs is a creative and unique way for a student to learn, experience and master all sorts of ball handling tricks. TOTs teachers will model, encourage, and inspire students to be the very best that they can be. Your child will attain many new skills that will instill a drive and motivation that will carry over into all areas of your child's life.
