History
Cindy is from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and holds a Bachelor of music education with piano emphasis from the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught for eight years in public schools in Batesville and Jackson and joined the FPDS staff in 1992. “My desire is that your child will discover that music is enrichment to the total education,” she says. “It is a form of communication, a source of joy, and an opportunity for performance which develops confidence to aid in any field.”
About Me
She and her husband, Robert, have three children, Matthew, Ashlea and Luke, who are all FPDS graduates, and four grandchildren. “I was a parent at the Day School before joining the staff,” she says. “And, I am even more impressed with the quality of teachers as I watch them daily loving and teaching our students.” Cindy attends First Baptist Church Canton, where she is the pianist. She enjoys playing the organ, being with her grandchildren, and farm life – learning all about cows and horses!
