First Presbyterian Day School

Amy Allison taught second grade at FPDS for three years, and began serving FPDS as outreach coordinator in 2011. Originally from Dyersburg, Tennessee, she attended the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education. She and her husband, Weston, an alumnus of FPDS, have two sons, Stewart and Henry. They attend First Presbyterian Church, Jackson. “Teaching at FPDS is a calling, not just a job,” she says. “It is a place where teachers are praying for and loving the students and families entrusted to them each year.” Amy Allison enjoys running, shopping, and attending Ole Miss sporting events. “FPDS is truly a school where the heart of your child matters. This school is a loving and nurturing environment with the highest academic standards.”
