Gigi was raised in Jackson and graduated from Jackson Prep. She attended the University of Mississippi and is a huge Ole Miss football and baseball fan. She graduated from Ole Miss in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and obtained a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2006. After graduation, Gigi moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she taught third and fourth grade at Erwin Elementary for five years. In the summer of 2011, she moved home and taught sixth grade science for one year and sixth grade math for two years at a local public school. Gigi and her husband, Stacy, were married in March of 2012, and they currently live in Jackson. They have twin girls, Anne Weston and Mabry Cate. Gigi and her family spend many weekends in Oxford and at her family’s cabin outside of Hazlehurst. Gigi and Stacy are both members of First Presbyterian Church. "It is a tremendous blessing for Stacy and me to be a part of the First Pres Day School family," Gigi says. "As an alumna of FPDS, I know that a strong Christian education provides a solid foundation for both a child’s spiritual and academic growth." Gigi joined the FPDS staff in 2014.
