Marsha is a native of Memphis, and attended the University of Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor of Music in applied voice. She also received a Master of Music from Mississippi College. She is certified in levels one, two, and three of Orff-Schulwerk. Marsha joined the FPDS staff in 1989 as the physical education teacher and became the music teacher in 1996. She and her husband, Bill, have two sons, Will and Peter, who are both FPDS graduates, and they are blessed with two granddaughters. Marsha attends Brandon Presbyterian Church, where she serves as the music director.
Marsha enjoys reading, walking her dog, Roxie, and watching old movies. “I have been blessed beyond measure to be a part of FPDS for more than 30 years,” she says. “Teachers and students are family and a great encouragement to me. My own sons attended FPDS, and I wouldn’t take anything for the knowledge of the Bible and the life lessons they learned here.”
