A resident of Crystal Springs, Pam grew up in Terry and received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Mississippi University for Women. She has taught for more than 30 years at FPDS. “Teaching at First Pres. is not merely a job, it is a constant blessing and joy,” she says. “As a teacher, I am given the opportunity to make a difference in a Christian environment on a daily basis.” She and her husband have two children, Sallie Dier and Jim Burt, both who are FPDS alums, and two grandchildren, one of whom attends FPDS. “Parents who send their children to FPDS are making a wise investment not only in their education but also in their spiritual life.” She attends Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church and enjoys cooking, and gardening.
