Rebecca grew up in Tunica and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education. After spending five years teaching at in Madison County Schools in Ridgeland and one year as a substitute teacher at FPDS, Rebecca joined the FPDS staff officially in 2013. She and her husband, Trey, have three children who attend FPDS, Elizabeth, Katherine and Holden. “I have three children in this school, and the Christian influence and Biblical teaching are invaluable,” she says. The Heigles attend Highlands Presbyterian Church, and Rebecca’s hobbies include tennis, walking and spending time with her family. “I have always loved teaching,” she says. “To do so in a Christian environment is so exciting to me. It is my prayer that He would use me as an instrument for His glory in the students’ lives. What a tremendous opportunity for me to be a part of this teaching ministry at FPDS!”
