First Presbyterian Day School

Sally Beth is a native of Greenville, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Louisiana State University. She joined FPDS in 2010 after teaching for many years in Byram Public Schools and at a local preschool. She and her husband, Emory, have a son, Emory, who graduated from FPDS in 2013, and a daughter, Eliza Scott, who is currently a student here. They attend Christ United Methodist Church. Sally Beth enjoys sewing, running and cooking in her spare time. “It is a privilege to help plant seeds of Christ-likeness in my students’ hearts as they pursue excellence in academics,” she says. “Having my children at FPDS has been such a blessing for them as well as for me and my husband. We have seen the seeds that were planted begin to grow and develop and are so thankful that they are (and have been) part of such a special place.”
