Where the Heart of the Child Matters

First Presbyterian Day School is an independent, Christian, elementary school that serves approximately 675 students in grades K3 through sixth.
With a mission that began in 1965 and continues today, FPDS strives to plant seeds of Christlikeness
in the hearts of children; pursue excellence in academics; and prepare students for future service in God’s kingdom in their homes, churches, and professions.

Ella Payne, Teacher

"FPDS is truly one of the best places, and that's because of a combination of the teachers, administrators, academics, families, and, most importantly, it is a place that grows the hearts of children through prayer and the Word of God."

Alyson Jones, Parent

"I feel very blessed, like God opened the perfect door for my family to have found such a wonderful Christian environment to help my children reach their full potential."

John Woods Hollowell, Alumni

"I left very prepared spiritually as well as academically to begin seventh grade.  First Pres. shaped me to be the person I am and I am so thankful to have gone to school there."
