For generations, FPDS has planted seeds of Christlikeness in the hearts of children. FPDS Early Childhood provides a nurturing atmosphere for children six-weeks old through two-years old, shepherding them to learn, grow, and develop into who God uniquely created them to be.

1. Hours: The Early Childhood program follows the hours and dates of FPDS. FPDS Early Childhood runs Monday through Friday, 7:15am - 6:00pm. A sample school calendar can be found at fpds.org/calendar.

2. Licensing: FPDS Early Childhood is licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health and follows all child facility guidelines. 

3. Drop off: begins at 7:15. Parents (not siblings) are responsible for checking in and dropping their child off at their prospective classrooms. (Please note Under the Oaks Summer Program drop off begins at 7:30). 

4. Pickup: All children must be picked up and checked out by parents from their prospective classroom by 6:00pm. Early Childhood children will not be brought out for carpool. 

5. Student Teacher Ratio: There will be no more than 5 infants to 1 teacher for infants and 1s, and no more than 7 children to 1 teacher (or 14:2) for Pre-K2. 

6. Curriculum: FPDS Early Childhood came to fruition as a response to families seeking nurturing and Christ-centered care for their children that are not yet 3 years old. It is FPDS’s desire to extend the same mission of planting seeds of Christlikeness, pursuing excellence in academics, and preparing children for future service in God’s Kingdom to even the youngest of our Crusaders. Our teachers seek to shepherd children at all ages to learn, grow, and develop into the unique individuals God created them to be!
