Mrs. Sarah Grace Duncan - FPDS November Teacher of the Month

At First Presbyterian Day School, we are blessed to have incredible educators who pour their hearts into shaping the lives of our students. This November, we are thrilled to honor Sarah Grace Duncan as our Teacher of the Month.

Sarah Grace joined the FPDS family just a year ago as a K3 assistant teacher. From the start, her natural gift for teaching and her deep love for her students were evident. This year, she stepped into a lead role with grace and confidence, and her students couldn’t be happier!

Sarah Grace is the epitome of grace in every sense of the word. She brings a calm, nurturing presence to her classroom, and her students adore her for it. More than just a teacher, she is a role model who demonstrates what it means to serve Christ in everything she does. Whether through a kind word, a thoughtful lesson, or a warm smile, Sarah Grace shares the love of Jesus with her students every day.

"Sarah Grace is a wonderful addition to our Preschool team. She is a gifted teacher who loves her children and families. She is patient and kind and takes the time to teach important virtues in daily activities. We are thankful she is here at FPDS."

In Sarah Grace’s classroom, the focus extends beyond academic learning. She weaves lessons of faith, kindness, and patience into daily activities, helping her students grow not just in knowledge but also in character. Her love for her work is evident, and it’s clear she sees each day as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Sarah Grace’s heart for service is a shining example to her students, her colleagues, and our FPDS community. She lives out our mission to provide a Christ-centered education and creates a space where her young learners feel loved, valued, and encouraged to become the best versions of themselves.

We are so grateful to have Sarah Grace Duncan as part of the FPDS family. Congratulations, Sarah Grace, on being our November Teacher of the Month! You are truly a blessing to our school and to everyone who has the privilege of working with you.
